A three way sound clash of sorts, "DUBwise" brings together the efforts of Alter Echo (of DJ Spooky's Dubtometry series, BSI Records, and soon to be widely known as a key exponent behind the long awaited full length from The Lifesavas) ERS-1 (AKA DJ Magneto, a heavy touring DJ and founding member of Innernational along with DJ Day and Rip One) and the unmistakable Dr Israel, who is now 3 full lengths deep on the labels ROIR and Baboon. Here Dr. Israel provides a touch of lyrical toasting, which coupled with the rhythm's spatial resonance creates a feel of that of an excerpt from a sound clash tape, circa 2047. One might say there are nods to Rhythm & Sound or perhaps Mapstation, although "DUBwise" speaks volumes in it"s own originality to the possibilities awaiting listeners of these artists in the future. "DUBwise", as with the other records in the series, is a limited edition of 215 hand numbered pieces, and comes in an embossed, hand stitched Jacket.
